My office come music room private space recently needed some kind of inspiration. I had a bit of a clean black & white theme going on – and being a bit of a fan of ‘The Boss’, I’d always loved the stark black & white image on the cover of Springsteen’s ‘Born to Run’ landmark 1975 album.
The only copy I had was of the original vinyl album cover, which I dragged out of the loft – and this was very grainy. Determined to have this particular image on my wall, I asked our studio head very politely if he could possibly re-draw part of the image as a vector file, to fit the chimney breast area as a feature. He kindly took me up on this and the result is stunning. Because the image is purely vector, there is no degredation to the quality when blown up.
The textured wallpaper finish I chose also looks fantastic and is very hard wearing. Everyone comments when they visit and I have to say I love it. The wall art cheers me up many a day and accompanies me when I’m working from home. Cheers to Pictowall.
N.B. Fitting was a doddle – daren’t do it myself, but a decorator finished it in 2 hours and only charged me £85.00.
